Ok to upgrade to the new iOS and macOS 27?
Definitely. It’s not yet perfect, but it’s really good and without glaring problems. Many folks including your humble have been testing it all summer, and other reports mirror my experience.
After you upgrade, go to Settings > Siri, and enable the new Siri AI:
- Tap Try Siri AI (beta)
- Follow the prompts
It will put you on a “waitlist” that should let you in nearly right away. (They’re understandably trying to manage traffic.)
Once done, you’ll be in on all your devices. Then try Siri out—it doesn’t suck anymore!
